Hi! I'm Ashley, the Midwest Mrs. I am Wisconsin born and raised (hence the Midwest Mrs. part) but I swear I should've been born in the south. I am a firm believer, "The bigger the hair, the closer to God". My husband J.Michael and I were married in front of our friends and family on July 20, 2013. We live in our first home together just outside of Madison, Wisconsin. We love all things Wisconsin: cheese, football, farmer's markets, and beer! Well, the Midwest Mr. likes beer more than the Mrs. I'm more of a moscato or moscow mule girl myself.

My home away from home is in my second grade classroom. I don't really like to call it a job, as teaching is definitely a hobby for me. The Midwest Mr. is in the Airforce. Is there anything better than a man in uniform? I think not...

We have two wiener dogs, Oliver and Finley. They are the most misbehaved pups you'll ever meet. We love them regardless.
